We're glad you decided to check us out. We live on a farm in Ohio just inside Adams County. Most of the Boers we have for sale are traditional. We wanted to add some color to our herd so we are raising red, black and paint. All of our Boers are registered 100% full blooded. We have tried to purchase top quality bloodlines. Some of their ennoblements include Eggs, Studley-Dudley, Rhubarb, Dr. Pepper,Tomkat, Powell/Holman Bingo, RRD Gunsmoke , Dow "Pipeline", Oscar and the list goes on.
Our goat herd is not as large as some people raise these days and the biggest reason is we like to have a hands on approach with them.We strive to raise healthy, happy goats. Ones that you can pet and be around. Our goats don't just run in the field. They are friendly and can be handled easily.
If we can help you with any of your needs, contact us. If you just want info on raising goats we'd love to talk to you about them. Please browse our site.
In addition to our Boer goat herd we also raise and sell:
Registered Premium Myotonic (fainting) goats
All of our fainters are registered with the MGR. Our fainters are the smaller version. They average about 50 lbs. except the buck and he weights approx. 70 to 80 lbs. All our fainters are handled on a daily basis. They love attention and petting. If your looking to start a fainter herd, have an existing herd and would like to increase or would like a pet goat we've got the one for you. Click on our fainters page to learn more about the breed. Pictured is Josh our buck. When he goes down he's down!!!

JACK & ANITA MAULDIN'S BOER GOATS
All of our boers have kidded. We have more bucklings than doelings. We'll be wethering most. If your interested in a young buck contact us soon because we will be dehorning for 4-H projects. We will be taking deposits on fair wethers. Our fainters are bred and due to kid in February and March.
We have an open drive area designed to allow us to back a wagon load of hay in for easy unloading. We have lofts over all the stalls which will hold about 300 bales of hay. We also built a small office. We put a small air conditioner and a baseboard heater so we are able to keep meds and others supplies in the barn. Also comes in handy if problems from kidding arise. Most of our kidding comes in cold weather.
To the left is a pic of our main hay feeding area. It was designed by my husband. He used 2 cattle panels. Hay is pulled through one panel and any excess hay falls into small space inbetween the 2 panels. With this design most of the waste hay is elimated.
To the right is one of our 4 birthing stalls. Since our boers kid in January we have heat lights in all of our stalls. Each light has a fully enclosed cage that is kid proof. He mounted each cage on unistrut so it can be moved up or down depending on how close you want the lamp to the kid.
